Dan Hernandez is an undergraduate photojournalism and business student at San Francisco state university.
He CURRENTLY SERVES AS THE ENTETRAINMENT EDITOR AND WAS THE FORMER VISUALS EDITOR FOR THE GOLDEN GATE XPRESS.
He has won awards for his work in journalism by the College Media Association, Best of sno and the journalism association of community colleges.
Outside of journalism, he is cycling, swimming laps, exploring around San Francisco or on a mountain camping in his Subaru.
He is the former teenage editor-in-chief of The Advocate newspaper at Contra Costa College. At 15 years old, he got his start in journalism working on writing, photography and design  until graduating high school in 2021. His early work can be found there.
